LPRVF A NON PROFIT FOR A BETTER FUTURE IN PEARL RIVER COUNTY
Lower Pearl River Valley Foundation Supports Local Representation at State Convention
The 127th Annual State Convention of the Mississippi
Federation of Women's Clubs was held April 24–26 on the Gulf Coast, celebrating more than a century of leadership and service. Members from across Mississippi gathered in Gulfport for impactful meetings, collaborative workshops, and networking opportunities, continuing the organization’s legacy of civic engagement and community betterment.
This year, the Lower Pearl River Valley Foundation provided a grant to ensure local representation from Pearl River County could participate in the convention, giving our community a voice in this important statewide gathering.
"Supporting local representation at the Mississippi Federation of Women’s Clubs State Convention is an investment in leadership and community engagement. We’re proud to help ensure that Pearl River County has a strong voice at the table," said Dr. Pam Thomas, Board Chair of the Lower Pearl River Valley Foundation.
Mr. Clyde Dease, President of the Foundation, added, "This program embodies our mission of empowering individuals and organizations to improve the quality of life in our region. By making participation possible, we’re strengthening connections that benefit our community for years to come."
